Job summary

OneFlo is building a healthcare-focused AI platform and seeks an AI Engineer to develop and scale conversational agents in production. You will design prompt strategies, decision logic, and integrate AI with backend services, queues, and APIs.

You’ll work across backend, frontend, and DevOps priorities with Node.js, Express, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, React, Redux, AWS, Terraform, and HIPAA-compliant environments.

Qualifications

• Mid to senior level, senior preferred.
• Strong experience building AI chatbots or LLM-based systems.
• Strong backend engineering experience and ability to own projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve LLM-driven conversational agents.
• Design prompt strategies and decision logic.
• Integrate AI with backend systems, queues, and APIs.
• Handle complex edge cases across conversation flows.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of AI systems.
• Use telemetry and testing feedback to improve outputs.
