Job summary

Phantom is seeking an AI Engineer to shape the adoption and scaling of AI across the company. You will build internal AI tools, integrations, and automation to help teams work smarter and faster, turning AI capabilities into reliable production solutions.

You will partner with teams to identify opportunities, develop AI-powered workflows, and establish secure, scalable foundations for AI across the org. A strong focus on LLMs and practical impact is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience building apps using LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or open-source models).
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and API integration.
• Experience building AI agents and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with RAG, tool calling, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with enterprise integrations and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to translate business problems into practical technical solutions.
• Independent working style with stakeholder collaboration.
• Genuine interest in AI and a bias toward experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI powered tools, agents, and automation that streamline workflows and solve business problems.
• Connect LLMs and AI apps with internal systems, APIs, and enterprise tools to enable seamless, intelligent workflows.
• Build and maintain the underlying AI infrastructure and services for reliable applications.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical AI solutions.
• Develop reusable components and tooling to scale AI workflows.
• Implement access controls, monitoring, and safeguards for security and reliability.
• Monitor model performance, usage, and costs to optimize efficiency.
• Stay current with AI technologies and evaluate models to drive innovation.
