Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise application development, AI implementation, or cloud-based engineering, preferably in professional services.
• Ability to work independently on complex production issues and recommend remediation.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Legal industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET; cloud-native backend development and API design; Azure App Services/Web Apps/Functions; Durable Functions and orchestrated workflows; Azure Service Bus and event-driven architecture; Azure SQL; Docker; Azure Application Insights; CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; Git.
• Experience with AI-enabled systems using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, embeddings, vector search, RAG pipelines, AI agents, Copilot Studio or conversational AI platforms; familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools; understanding of Azure infrastructure (VNets, Private Endpoints, DNS, firewalls) and Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Define and analyze organizational needs for AI-enabled solutions, automation, and collaboration tech.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable, secure AI applications.
• Lead development of modern solutions using C# and .NET Core/.NET 8.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Azure (Web Apps, Functions, Durable Functions).
• Implement event-driven patterns using Azure Service Bus and related frameworks.
• Build AI-powered solutions with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.
• Develop secure APIs and backend services integrating with Azure SQL and enterprise systems.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated deployments.
• Support Azure governance, security, identity, and networking controls.
• Provide QA, documentation, and knowledge transfer; respond to production escalations.
