Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an early‑career Procurement AI & Automation Analyst to join the Procurement Excellence team. You will help build AI-enabled applications using Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, integrating Snowflake and GitHub, and support cost savings tracking and supplier scorecards.

This remote US role spans Direct and Indirect Procurement, Logistics, and other functions, requiring strong problem‑solving, communication, and a desire to learn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, information systems, analytics, engineering, supply chain, business, finance, or related field.
• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in AI-enabled development or procurement.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience using Claude Code or OpenAI Codex to build applications/workflows.
• Experience taking AI-enabled solutions from concept to working output, including testing and evaluation.
• Experience translating ambiguous business needs into defined requirements and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI opportunities and prioritize based on business impact.
• Build and deploy AI agents and automations using approved tools.
• Own operation and lifecycle of AI solutions with clear ownership and documentation.
• Support governance, data privacy, and compliance in AI initiatives.
• Deliver training and enable adoption of AI solutions across procurement teams.
