Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience focusing on Java and full stack delivery.
• 3+ years in engineering leadership leading teams of 10+ engineers.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI coding assistants into real development workflows, not just evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of modern CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud‑native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI‑native engineering vision for Java full stack delivery (Spring Boot, Angular/React, microservices, cloud‑native).
• Lead tool selection and integration across AI coding assistants and AI‑assisted testing pipelines; ensure CI/CD interoperability.
• Redesign SDLC to embed AI agents at each phase and establish governance for AI‑generated code quality and security.
• Build and lead a center of excellence for AI‑native Java development with reusable prompts and standards.
• Upskill engineers with training curricula for prompt engineering and AI supervision.
• Establish guardrails for security, IP/licensing, and human‑in‑the‑loop review of AI output.
• Define metrics for developer velocity, code quality, cycle time, and cost‑to‑serve improvements.
• Collaborate with delivery leads, security/compliance, and client stakeholders to pilot AI‑native delivery.
