CareDx, Inc. is a leading precision medicine company focused on transplant care. The Data & AI Engineer II will build analytical apps, data pipelines, and AI-powered capabilities to support clinical research and decision making.

You will translate R analyses to maintainable Python, productionize ML workflows, and collaborate with scientists, clinicians, and engineers to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in CS, data science, engineering or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years in data engineering, backend or analytics engineering roles.
• Strong Python proficiency for data analysis and software development.
• Experience transforming research code into maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical applications using Python, Streamlit, Plotly, Dash and Django.
• Own implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance of features and data workflows.
• Productionize ML workflows and models built by data scientists and statisticians.
• Translate R-based analyses to maintainable Python code.
• Build and maintain data pipelines that support clinical data processing, analysis and reporting.
• Create interactive apps enabling data exploration and decision support.
• Integrate apps with databases, APIs and other data sources.
• Contribute to AI-powered features like structured extraction and retrieval-augmented generation.
