Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer to design, build, connect, and operate AI tools and automated workflows that help teams deliver secure, reliable results. You’ll be a hands-on contributor helping teams use AI models, automate work, and connect AI tools to enterprise systems.

You’ll work with engineers, product owners, cybersecurity practitioners, and platform teams to turn needs into practical, secure, easy-to-use solutions while coaching junior teammates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, systems integration, or platform engineering.
• Experience delivering enterprise software, automation, or integrations.
• Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or AI gateways.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and IAM.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and document solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, deploy, and support AI tools and automated workflows.
• Operate the AI Gateway with access controls, model selection, and auditing.
• Lead secure connections of AI tools to enterprise systems and APIs.
• Develop automation scripts, runbooks, and implementation guidance.
• Plan testing, troubleshooting, and release activities for tools.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and platform teams to ensure security.
• Support cyber operations and monitor tool performance and feedback.
• Guide junior engineers and communicate risks and decisions clearly.
