Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate AI tools and automated workflows that empower Booz Allen teams to deliver secure, reliable results. You will lead the secure connection of AI tools to enterprise systems and collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, product, and operations.

You will develop automation scripts, runbooks, and implementation guidance, while coaching junior team members and ensuring robust sign-in, permissions, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or a related technical field.
• Experience delivering enterprise software, automation, integration, or platform solutions.
• Experience implementing or supporting AI tools, automation platforms, AI gateways, or enterprise apps.
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevSecOps, identity and access management, logging, and monitoring tools.
• Experience building secure system integrations through APIs, webhooks, or service-based architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated software delivery on cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, deploy, and support AI tools and automated workflows.
• Set up and operate the AI Gateway with access controls, model selection, and auditing.
• Lead secure connections of AI tools, APIs, enterprise apps, and workflows.
• Develop automation scripts, runbooks, and implementation guidance.
• Plan testing, troubleshooting, and release activities for AI tools and automations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and platform teams to protect data and implement secure sign-in and access controls.
• Review tool performance, usage, and feedback to identify improvements.
• Coach junior engineers and communicate decisions clearly.
