Job summary

Tantus, a Sikich Subsidiary, seeks an AI Developer/Applied ML Practitioner to sustain and modernize FAA enterprise data and analytics platforms. They will support Palantir Foundry, AI/ML, EDP, data governance, cloud modernization, and BI.

This role is anticipated to be remote with onsite reporting in Washington, DC as needed. Requires 6+ years in AI, a Master's degree, and strong Python/LLMs/LangChain experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in data science, IT, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience, especially AI applications in cloud environments.
• Strong skills in AI/ML software engineering, Python, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, LangChain, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, and Palantir Foundry

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical products, dashboards, predictive models, machine learning solutions, and decision-support capabilities.
• Implement prototype AI solutions, LLM workflows, and analytics accelerators.
• Code and configure AI applications within Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and Palantir Foundry.
• Implement autonomous agentic workflows, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLM alignment techniques.
• Integrate AI models into existing systems and support troubleshooting, optimization, and knowledge transfer.
