Alignerr is seeking a remote Computer Engineering - AI Data Trainer to design advanced hardware-focused challenges and author rigorous, step-by-step solutions that will train AI models. You will evaluate AI outputs against hardware standards and provide precise feedback to improve model reasoning.

The role emphasizes clear technical communication, attention to detail, and experience in embedded systems and computer architecture. This is an hourly remote contract with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Engineering, CS with hardware focus.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Digital Logic Design, or Operating Systems.
• Ability to communicate highly technical hardware concepts in writing clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex problems across domains like RISC-V/ARM, FPGA development, memory management, and HW-SW co-design.
• Author ground-truth solutions with step-by-step technical content including HDL snippets and diagrams for AI training.
• Conduct technical auditing of AI-generated code (C/C++, Verilog, VHDL), logic designs, and OS kernels for accuracy and standards.
• Refine model reasoning by identifying race conditions, memory leaks, and timing issues with structured feedback.
