Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented, English-speaking evaluators to review AI-generated media. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and write concise explanations of what looks or sounds off.

This remote, flexible role lets you choose your hours while contributing to advancing AI evaluation and feedback loops. Ideal candidates have strong written communication, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to decide between imperfect options.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Ability to think on your feet and explain realistic situations conversationally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each response sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing a focused explanation in English.
