Job summary

Outlier, an AI training platform, is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model and score exchanges, then explain in writing what looked or sounded off.

You will compare AI-generated images and videos against prompts, inspect outputs for distortions, and rate adherence, quality, and realism. This freelance role offers flexible hours, payout via PayPal or ACH, and the chance to contribute to frontier AI

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Ability to articulate reasons clearly in written explanations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based reviews is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot distortions, flickering, or misalignment between audio and video.
• Write specific English explanations pointing to what was seen or heard and rate adherence, quality and realism.
