Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of home. You’ll roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and write concise explanations in writing about what looked or sounded off.

Remote hours are flexible, and compensation is up to $15/hr with weekly payments. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, highly detail-oriented, and able to produce clear written feedback.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English with clear, accurate written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in to verify outputs.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic scenarios.
• Currently accepting applicants from multiple countries including the United States.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows prompts better.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot distortions, flicker, misalignment, or audio-visual mismatches.
• Write a concise, English explanation detailing what was seen or heard and why it matters.
• Provide written feedback to improve AI systems through evaluation tasks.
