Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model and score exchanges, compare AI-generated images and videos to the prompt, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, all remotely and on your schedule.

Contributors review various media types, with pay up to $15 USD/hr and weekly payments. Access leading LLMs, and work from home or while traveling, with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication and comfortable with natural everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios in a natural, conversational way.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely—zooming, replaying—to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, or audio-video misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a clear English explanation of what was observed.
