Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will conduct live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, and explain what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

As a freelance, 1099 role, you will compare AI-generated images and videos to prompts, identify issues like unnatural motion or misalignment, and provide written explanations to help improve future models. Remote work offers flexible hours and fair compensation.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or above is nice to have.
• Able to think on your feet and explain realistic scenarios in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific English explanation of what you saw or heard.
