Job summary

Outlier is inviting English-speaking evaluators to review AI-generated media from the comfort of home, with flexible hours and a remote setup. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare generated media, and explain what looked off in writing. This freelance, 1099 role supports ongoing AI research improvements.

You’ll be paid weekly, with rates up to $15 per hour, plus incentives. Access to leading LLMs is provided, and you can work from anywhere with no minimum hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Nice to have a Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
