Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare generated images and videos to assess prompt adherence, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, your work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve. You’ll review outputs, provide evidence-based explanations, and contribute to a feedback loop that enhances AI performance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
