Job summary

Mercor is seeking Compliance Officers to evaluate AI-generated compliance assessments, regulatory analyses, and licensing reviews for quality and accuracy. This remote, contract-based role requires examining eligibility for or conformity with laws, regulations, licenses, or permits and providing expert feedback to improve AI outputs.

Applicants should have 4+ years in compliance or regulatory-enforcement, excellent written English, and be able to commit 20+ hours per week, with immediate start.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory-enforcement roles.
• Experience examining, evaluating, or investigating eligibility for or conformity with laws, regulations, licenses, or permits.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.
• Strong written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated compliance assessments, regulatory analyses, and licensing reviews for quality and accuracy.
• Compare AI-generated responses for regulatory rigor, evidentiary soundness, and enforcement reasoning.
• Review compliance scenarios involving eligibility determinations, license and permit review, and violation reporting.
• Provide expert feedback on regulatory recommendations to improve AI model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and enhance AI systems.
