Job summary

Mercor is hiring experienced Compliance Officers to help evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. In this role, you'll evaluate AI-generated compliance content and workflows, leveraging your real-world expertise in examining laws, regulations, and licensing standards, and in enforcement inspection and analysis. Start date: Immediate.

Duration: Approximately 4-6 weeks. Payment: task-based (payment upon first task approval).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Compliance Officer or related role.
• Experience examining eligibility for laws, licenses, or permits, with findings and reports.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.
• Strong written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated compliance assessments, regulatory analyses, licensing reviews, and enforcement artifacts for quality and accuracy.
• Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head based on regulatory rigor and evidentiary soundness.
• Review compliance scenarios and provide expert feedback on eligibility and regulatory recommendations.
