Job summary

Bamboo Works is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows and intelligent agents. This role emphasizes production-grade systems, Claude Code, and modern development practices to impact multiple businesses.

The position is part-time (20 hours/week), fully remote with Pacific overlap preferred, and compensation is USD 900/month, with potential increases based on experience. Independent contractor engagement with ASAP start.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building AI-powered apps or automation workflows.
• Strong Python and Claude Code experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Git.
• Experience building AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Hands-on with n8n or Make for automation.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and structured outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-ready AI agents using Claude Code.
• Develop modular agent-based systems for complex workflows.
• Build scalable AI frameworks across multiple businesses.
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows with approvals.
• Improve agent performance and reliability continually.
