Job summary

NAVA Software is seeking an AI Architect to lead the design and deployment of agentic AI in a cloud-native environment. This remote role collaborates with engineers, product owners, and security teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities include building scalable AI systems with Kubernetes and Docker, integrating LangChain/LLM tooling, Azure OpenAI, RAG pipelines, and securing the architecture in regulated contexts. Mentoring peers is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in enterprise architecture.
• Design enterprise-grade architectures spanning data, integration, security, and AI-native capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of AI-assisted development, agentic coding workflows, and planning methods.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into architecture decisions and lead reviews.
• Secure-by-design principles, threat modeling, and software supply chain risk in regulated environments.
• Mentor Solution/Enterprise Architects and senior engineers.
• Drive architectural consensus across cross-functional groups.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools critically for durable improvements.
• Independent, detail-oriented thinker with sound judgment.
• Own architectural decisions and outcomes; reliable across multiple initiatives.
• Strong Python/C#/Java skills; Python preferred for AI work.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker; Azure deployments.
• Experience building agentic AI apps with LLM orchestration tools.
• Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Strong communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade software and AI-driven apps in a cloud-native environment.
• Build and orchestrate agentic AI systems with multi-step agents and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Containerize apps with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes (AKS).
• Architect scalable, secure Azure solutions using Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Functions, and DevOps.
• Integrate LLM-based agents with internal APIs, data sources, and workflows.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and observability for AI agents in production.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical design, and engineering best practices; mentor others.
