Job summary

Gofractional is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design and build an AI agent system that manages a high-value, multi-stage transaction workflow for a large enterprise client. You will implement tool integrations, data pipelines, and per-stage agent components enabling end-to-end runs in sandbox data, with human confirmation only at defined intervention points.

You will work under the Lead AI/Agent Architect and collaborate with a small team to deliver working components across eight stages,

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software or ML engineering with production experience building LLM-powered features.
• Experience with agent tooling, tool and function calling, retrieval, and prompt engineering.
• Strong Python and data pipeline experience.
• Experience parsing, extracting, and generating documents (PDF, DOCX).
• Financial analytics and NLP information extraction in contracts or leases.
• Exposure to CRE or document-heavy transactions is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-native workflow and agentic engineering.
• Ability to work in Agile, milestone-based sprints.

Responsibilities

• Build per-stage agent capabilities for individual workflow stages.
• Develop typed tools: template population, data queries, financial analytics.
• Create data pipelines against sandbox data and pipelines.
• Implement human-in-the-loop gates with broker confirmation.
• Validate components via end-to-end testing across eight stages.
• Participate in Phase 1 architecture workshops to ensure solid foundations.
