Job summary

Arionkoder, an AI consulting firm, is hiring a contract AI engineer with a backend or full stack background to build, deploy, and operate AI agents in production. Work spans tolling and compliance data, with a focus on scalable, observable agent systems.

Responsibilities include end-to-end agent development, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring, and knowledge sharing. Remote, LATAM overlap with US Eastern hours; strong English required.

Qualifications

• Backend or full stack engineering background with hands-on AI engineering experience.
• Track record of shipping agents and AI features to production.
• Own the full path to production: IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, deployment and monitoring.
• Cloud experience in AWS and/or Azure, including container orchestrators (Kubernetes or ECS).
• Strong Python or TypeScript with experience building with LLM APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI agents end to end from spec to production.
• Ship early and iterate on feedback from real users.
• Collaborate with product, support and engineering to clarify requirements.
• Own infrastructure and delivery path: IaC, CI/CD and deployment.
• Monitor, evals, costs and failure handling after going live.
• Spread best practices in agentic engineering to the team.
• Use coding agents as the main software-building approach.
• Break work into verifiable pieces and run several agents in parallel.
• Rely on tests, CI and agent review to maintain quality.
• Improve setup to prevent issues and package reusable skills.
