Job summary

Outlier is seeking skilled contributors to build and evaluate autonomous agent workflows for OpenClaw. This freelance role is remote and offers up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payments.

You will help shape the future of AI agents by designing evaluation rubrics, tracing agent behavior, and stress testing multi-step coordination tasks. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in backend engineering or AI automation, proven production-grade software skills, and experience with live live-system interactions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (e.g., distinct services for data parsing, logic processing, and reporting).
• Practical experience building for live, non-mocked environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
• Nice to have experience with multi-stage coordination tasks and integration with live tools.
