Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Agricultural Data Analyst to turn diverse agricultural data into actionable insights. You will apply Python, SQL, and modern visualization tools to improve crop yields, resource use, and farm efficiency.

This fully remote role supports operations across multiple agricultural ventures. You will collect and clean large datasets, build models, and present dashboards, driving data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in agriculture.
• Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL skills.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large agricultural datasets from sensors, yield maps, and weather data.
• Develop statistical models and ML algorithms to identify trends and correlations.
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
• Collaborate with agronomists, farm managers, and software developers to operationalize insights.
