Trestle Programs, Inc. in Westminster, CO, seeks a Screening Specialist for after hours/on-call to assess juveniles for detention and provide immediate response.

Work is primarily from home with occasional meetings in Westminster; you will obtain accurate information, relay to the Court, and coordinate with law enforcement and agencies. Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, or Criminal Justice and 1 year in related fields.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the juvenile justice system, human service system, CYDC, and related resources.
• Ability to develop good relations with arresting agencies, courts, and other entities involved in the process.
• Ability to ascertain accurate facts and translate information.

Responsabilités

• Determine if the juvenile is appropriate for detention placement.
• Provide 24/7 cell phone response for the 17th JD.
• Obtain accurate information from arresting agencies.
• Relay accurate information to courts and involved parties.
• Assist in emergency releases when facility is at capacity.
