Hybrid/onsite work in Endicott, NY is preferred, with U.S. citizenship required for this work. This role emphasizes multicore timing, determinism, and partitioning challenges in certification environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field; required.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience in avionics or safety-critical embedded development.
• Experience with RTOS-based development and RTOS concepts.
• Experience with DO-178C standards.
• Proficient in C and Python.
• Experience with HW/SW integration and software test (HLR/LLR).

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate software running on RTOS-based multicore SoC architectures.
• Ensure compliance with DO-178C and system-level requirements.
• Perform integration and system testing (HW/SW) and software verification (HLR/LLR).
• Contribute to safety-critical certification work and traceability activities.
