Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Obstacle Aeronautical Information Analyst to support the FAA in Oklahoma City. The role provides technical expertise, transition support, and project implementation for the national database.

The position is 90% remote and requires local candidates in Oklahoma City, OK. Responsibilities include reviewing construction proposals for NAS impact, coordinating information within FAA channels, processing 7460-2 notifications, and maintaining records within the IFP Impact Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics, Aviation, or Air Traffic Control or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Airspace procedures background (Instrument Flight Procedures).
  • Air Traffic Control experience (FAA, contractor or military).
  • Commercial Instrument Rated Pilot (Military or Civilian).
  • Certified Instrument Flight Instructor (CFI).Evidence of TERPS experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Apply experience and knowledge of aeronautical studies per 14 CFR Part 77 for construction/alteration of NAS structures.
  • Review construction proposals for completeness and accuracy.
  • Evaluate effects of proposed construction on navigable airspace.
  • Coordinate aeronautical information within FAA channels for timely NAS data release.
  • Process FAA Form 7460-2 notifications and input data into electronic systems where needed.
