Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking an Advisory AI Architect for the Forward Deployment Engineering (FDE) Unit. You will design and build AI and GenAI solutions with customers, own key AI software stack parts, and drive rapid PoV sprints toward stable production on Dell infrastructure.

Join our FDE Team to enable customers to operate and extend AI solutions post-engagement, balancing speed, reliability, security, and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Typically 6+ years in enterprise architecture, AI/ML platforms, or systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing AI solution components (model serving, orchestration, retrieval pipelines, vector stores).
• Strong software engineering background (CI/CD, observability, DevOps/SRE, IaC).
• Experience operating production AI or large-scale distributed systems in enterprises.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and Dell locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement AI stacks including model serving and orchestration.
• Lead PoV sprints to refine scope and deliver prototypes with measurable outcomes.
• Plan cloud-to-on-prem and hybrid migrations for AI workloads on Dell infrastructure.
• Ensure production readiness, performance tuning, monitoring, and stability.
• Collaborate with AI Data Specialists and Enterprise Architects on target architectures.
• Provide documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to customer teams.
