CruxOCM is seeking an Advanced Process Control Engineer to lead development and integration of advanced control algorithms with Crux software and industrial systems. You will collaborate with customer teams and internal groups to meet requirements and deliver projects.

You will architect, tune, and validate MPC strategies for pipeline operations, design safe interlocks, and drive rapid deployment with standardized playbooks while upholding stringent safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility in Canada preferred.
• Experience in control system design, tuning, and simulation testing.
• Familiarity with system identification for empirical models.
• Strong documentation and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Python and version control (GitHub).

Responsabilités

• Architect, implement and tune MPC for pipeline systems.
• Design state machines, interlocks, and safety checks.
• Plan and execute test plans; perform RCAs and troubleshoot.
• Develop tools for data analysis and model tuning.
• Enable rapid Crux product integration via playbooks and processes.
• Ensure safety and reliability standards in heavy industry.
