Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides consultative services and technical assistance in development, coordination, implementation, and operation to vet, train, and hire qualified career and technical education teachers.
• Admits and exits teachers from New Teacher Institute in KECS.
• Completes staffing of teachers in KECS for all Area Technology Centers.
• Processes, uploads and monitors applications in KECS.
• Communicates certification of new teachers and renewals of provisional certificates.
• Tracks and processes occupational base teacher rank changes and certificate expirations.
