The Area Technology Centers under the Office of Career and Technical Education are organizationally part ofthe Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), a service agency within the Commonwealth of Kentucky under theEducation and Workforce Development Cabinet. KDE supports the ATCs through guidance, resources, and oversightas part of its broader mission to ensure success for every student in Kentucky’s P-12 public education system.
This position is advertised as part of KRS Chapter 156 OCTE for employment through the Office of Career and Technical Education.It is not subject to the provisions of KRS 18A for classified or unclassified service

The Boone Area Technology Center in Hebron, KY is looking for an Diesel Technology Instructor who isdedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students. Salary: Dependent on rank and experience
In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the KentuckyTeachers’ Retirement System.

EDUCATION: Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;

Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;

Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
