The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking an Adult Protective Services Investigator in Phoenix. You will join a team protecting vulnerable adults, conducting investigations, writing detailed reports, and coordinating services with community partners.

The role requires strong judgment and collaboration with other agencies. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related fields, or have relevant case management experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to interview, assess, and document complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess complex cases involving vulnerable adults.
• Travel as required to conduct investigations and case work.
• Prepare case plans, risk and safety assessments, and closing summaries.
• Maintain accurate case files and document management.
