Remote Adolescent Therapist

East Coast Hours

Independent State licensure required in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, or Massachusetts.

Offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for Therapists with licenses in 3 states where Monte Nido provides services.

Monte Nido has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary team approach, integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.

The Primary Therapist manages a client caseload, providing group, individual, and family therapy. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments, collaborating on treatment planning, and coordinating discharge planning. Maintains communication with referral sources and other services as needed.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours/week, PST/MST/CST hours (or later hours if on EST), including 1-2 evenings (Monday evening required).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy
  • Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Therapeutic meal support, modeling a healthy relationship with food
  • Providing safe, empathetic, and affirming care based on clients' intersecting identities

Virtual Employee Expectations:

  • Reliable high-speed internet, camera, microphone, and backup plan for tech failures
  • Maintain a professional appearance and background during sessions

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field, preferably with knowledge of Eating Disorders
  • At least two years of experience conducting individual and group therapy
  • Independent state licensure in NY, VA, PA, IL, NJ, CA, and/or OR
