Schedule: This is a full-time W2 position with summers off. The work week is Monday through Friday, 12p - 8p CST.

The Role: Pediatric Mental Health Therapist

About This Role:

Looking for a meaningful career opportunity? Come join our Mental Health team as we expand to support more children and families in need! We are currently seeking Licensed Therapists who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our youth.

As a Pediatric Mental Health Therapist (Virtual), your primary responsibility will be to provide quality mental health care to students within our partner school districts. You will interact and build relationships with school personnel, family members, and other stakeholders working to bring accessible healthcare to students nationwide.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based virtual mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to an assigned caseload of K-12 students.
  • Diagnose, conduct initial mental health intake assessments, and create individual treatment plans according to student needs and circumstances.
  • Conduct clinical screeners and ongoing assessments of student progress.
  • Collaborate with the care management team to ensure a successful transition into Hazel services.
  • Obtain credentialing and additional clinical state licenses as requested.
  • Participate in trainings, meetings, and other activities as an active member of our clinical team.
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a minimum required weekly availability and productivity levels established by Clinical Leadership.
  • Provide consultative telehealth crisis support for school partners or students as assigned.
About You:
  • Passion for our Mission.
  • Required: Licensed without restrictions as an Independently Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT).
  • Required: Licensed in IL and the state in which you reside.
  • Additional state licenses desirable.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children.
  • Can obtain an acceptable Fingerprint (FBI) Criminal Background check upon hire.
  • Possess a working knowledge of diagnosis and assessment practices related to the mental health needs of children.
  • Telehealth experience preferred.
  • Strong technological skills, including the ability to learn new software.
  • Effective communicator through multiple channels.
  • Willingness to gain licensure in other states as needed.
  • Bilingual a strong plus.
  • Available for 10 month employment (school-year based).

The compensation range for this role is $73,800 - $82,800 for W2 full-time, 10 month employment (school-year based).
