Job summary

University Hospitals seeks a Licensed Professional Counselor (Adolescent IOP) to provide psychosocial care for adolescents within the UHBehavioral Health Adolescent IOP Program. The role involves assessments, clinical planning, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid schedule.

The LPC/LPCC will deliver age-appropriate care, coordinate with families, and support discharge planning while maintaining HIPAA and UH policy compliance.

Qualifications

• LPCC eligibility required within one year of eligibility.
• Ability to interact professionally with physicians, nurses and the healthcare team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessment/intervention for adolescents and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Link patients to community resources and facilitate discharge planning.
• Maintain knowledge of UH network services and promote their use.
