Job summary

Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking an Admissions Application Reader to support the admissions office by reading and scoring applications.

This remote, flexible, part-time role requires about 20 hours per week, with two designated one-week peak periods in June and August, and a start date of October 1, 2026. Qualifications include high school graduation with 4 years of work experience, preference for a BYU degree, and strong reading/comprehension and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduation and 4 years of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree from BYU preferred.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week including the holiday season.

Responsibilities

• Review applications and score based on a rubric.
• Input responses into the reader portal for admissions purposes.
• Stay current on reader communications and updates through Slack and email.
