Boston University Admissions seeks to hire a group of seasonal application readers for the 2026-2027 application reading season. This group of readers will work with our Office of Undergraduate Admissions from early November through early March. This position is 100% remote.

Seasonal readers will begin with a three-week training period and then evaluate applications from U.S. regions and overseas, reviewing credentials, activities, letters, and essays while considering life experiences and

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in secondary schools or higher education.
• Familiarity with secondary school transcripts is required.
• Experience with international curricula and grading systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read applications from assigned schools and conduct comprehensive evaluations of academic credentials, activities, recommendations, and essays.
• Work independently in a high-volume environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.
