Job summary

Alliant International University, Inc. is seeking adjunct professors to teach within the School of Education: Teacher Education across online and hybrid formats. This pool will identify qualified candidates for potential appointments in the 2026–2027 academic year.

The position is fully remote, with requirements to facilitate online CANVAS courses, develop syllabi, and mentor students. Candidates should have a terminal degree and relevant TK-12 teaching credentials, with California credentials

Qualifications

• Master’s, Doctoral or other terminal degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of relevant TK-12 teaching experience.
• Valid credential or license in teacher education; CA credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating Classroom and Distance/Distributed Learning.
• Course and syllabus preparation.
• Facilitating an asynchronous online CANVAS classroom.
• Delivery of course curriculum according to the syllabus via Canvas.
• Interacting with DES to ensure clinical practice requirements.
• Utilizing rubrics for assessment and measurement of learning outcomes.
• Submitting grades according to academic policies.
• Mentoring and supporting students.
• Engagement in professional development and reflection.
• Holding weekly office hours and meeting with students.
• Attend adjunct faculty meetings during contracted term.
