Job summary

University Adjunct Faculty deliver course content in person or online, aligning with syllabi and outcomes. Maintain regular instructional presence, hold office hours, and administer assessments with rubric-based feedback.

Faculty ensure accurate records in the LMS, engage students respectfully, and refer at‑risk students to program leadership. The role is term-by-term and governed by the Faculty Handbook and Employment Handbook.

Qualifications

• Graduate or terminal degree in the discipline or closely related field.
• Active licensure where required by program standards.
• Prior college-level teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with online delivery and LMS platforms required for online courses.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to provide constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deliver course content aligned with syllabi, outcomes, and standards.
• Maintain timely, substantive engagement and office hours with students.
• Create assessments, grade work, and provide feedback per rubrics.
• Keep accurate records in the university learning management system.
• Refer students to leadership or resources when necessary; participate in onboarding.
