Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) seeks qualified adjunct faculty for Early Childhood Development. Positions are appointed course-by-course, with teaching of developmental and/or college-level courses, including distance-learning options, during the day, evening, and weekends.

PVCC is a two-year, nonresidential public college serving Central Virginia. The successful candidate will hold a Master’s with 18 graduate hours (or PhD) in the field, and may be assigned on-site or remotely as

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
• Two years teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis.
• Responsibilities include teaching developmental and/or college-level courses, which may include distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.
• Primarily face-to-face with the possibility of remote instruction.
