Job summary

Medefer is seeking a GP with an ADHD focus to join their multidisciplinary team in a remote capacity. You will conduct structured ADHD assessments, provide psychoeducation and support treatment decisions within established protocols, delivering patient-centred care with a focus on continuity and clinical excellence.

Reporting to the Clinical Lead, the role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, flexibility in hours, and a commitment to safeguarding and digital care delivery.

Qualifications

• General Practitioner with an interest in ADHD.
• Current GMC registration, a licence to practise and inclusion on the GP Register.
• Experience working with adults with ADHD and/or neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Experience conducting clinical assessments and taking detailed patient histories.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to holistic, patient-centred care and maintaining current clinical compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct semi-structured ADHD assessment interviews and gather histories.
• Review pre-assessment documentation, GP information and collateral evidence.
• Prepare assessment information for psychiatrists and clinicians, contributing to formulations.
• Provide psychoeducation and non-pharmacological advice.
• Support patients through their care pathway and treatment options.
• Initiate and manage medication titration under protocols where competent.
• Help develop and refine clinical pathways and patient experience.
