Job summary

ProfDoc is seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrists for remote ADHD diagnostic and titration services. You will assess adults and youths (16+) with various ADHD presentations via secure video, using DSM-5/ICD-11 criteria and structured interviews.

You’ll initiate and titrate medications with clinical support from ADHD nurse prescribers and psychologists. The role includes monthly governance meetings, admin and technical support, and access to ADHD Academy webinars and annual conference.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with CCT in General Adult Psychiatry (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ADHD diagnostic assessments via secure video (90-120 mins).
• Apply DSM-5/ICD-11 criteria with DIVA-5 and ASRS-v1.1 structured interview.
• Initiate and titrate core treatments: methylphenidate, lisdexamfetamine, atomoxetine.
• Manage complex comorbidity: anxiety, depression, ASD traits, substance use.
• Provide telephone follow-up for titration reviews and treatment optimisation.
• Participate in monthly MDT calibration meetings and clinical governance.
