Job summary

Humana is seeking an Actuary, Pricing to develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products and support regulatory rate filings. The role involves establishing pricing assumptions, preparing bids, and advising on cost impacts of new products and benefits.

The successful candidate will collaborate with product development and other functions, monitor market conditions, and ensure compliance with rate regulations. The position is remote with EST schedule alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• FSA or ASA certification plus relevant advanced degree and/or other professional designations.
• MAAA certification or designation.
• Proven ability to articulate ideas effectively in writing and speaking.
• Experience in more than two functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products.
• Establish pricing assumptions and prepare bids.
• Support regulatory rate filings and certifications.
• Advise Product Development on cost impact of new products and benefits.
• Develop tools for pricing standard and customized offerings.
