Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics.
FSA and MAAA membership; or ASA with 4 years health insurance actuarial experience.
At least 7 years of actuarial experience in the health insurance or related field.
Verbal and written communications skills to prepare effective documentation, facilitate training and development, and participate in presentations.
PC proficiency to include Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Direct highly complicated work teams and long-term projects; set strategy for success.
Develop and drive strategy for tools, technology and resources for the team.
Ensure compliance with Actuarial Standards of Practice and requirements.
Communicate across the company and with external parties; prepare senior leadership briefings.
Build key relationships across areas and with external partners.
Demonstrate expert-level understanding of actuarial concepts across segments.
Lead and develop Directors and below; guide teams.
Foster a continuous improvement culture with measurable savings.
