Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in actuarial analytics, data science, insurance analytics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Snowflake, and SQL, technical experience.
  • Experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, actuarial principles, and risk modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain predictive models for pricing, reserving, underwriting, risk management, and forecasting.
  • Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
  • Consult with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges, define analytical approaches, and recommend data-driven solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, finance, underwriting, and product teams on strategic initiatives, while supporting experience studies, profitability assessments, scenario analyses, and regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
  • Design and automate reporting and analytical processes.
  • Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and modeling approaches.
