Job summary

CLARA Analytics is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join our Analytics team in the Product department. In this role, you'll perform analysis related to client work, validate data, draft reports, and maintain documentation.

You’ll present findings to product, technical and client-facing peers, executive leads, and clients. Work is shared across the function to build skills, take on increasing responsibilities, and contribute to data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or quantitative major or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of Actuary experience in Property-Casualty insurance.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance metrics and trends.
• Highly proficient in SQL with experience in cleaning and analyzing complex data.
• Experience with BI tools and data visualization best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Master CLARA's data ecosystem to identify and resolve data quality issues for reporting and analytics.
• Analyze vast data sources to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop standardized customer reporting and dashboards for CLARA's product suite.
• Create visually appealing dashboards, reports, and visualizations on an ad hoc or recurring basis.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering to deploy analytics methods and visualizations.
