Job summary

Mutual of Omaha is seeking an Actuarial Associate (or Actuarial Assistant, depending on experience) to lead pricing and strategy for Supplemental Health products. You’ll collaborate with actuarial and non-actuarial partners and drive high-value projects that modernize our offerings.

This role requires SOA exams (P and another) with a path toward FSA, AXIS proficiency, strong communication, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Actuarial pricing experience and pricing strategy
• Strong communication and ability to explain concepts to non-technical partners
• Willingness to pursue SOA fellowship (FSA) as part of career growth
• Experience with actuarial modeling tools (AXIS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform pricing, profitability management, and monitoring of Supplemental Health products.
• Analyze assumptions, develop rates, and provide financial projections.
• Review results to spot trends, recommend actions, and support risk management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and present insights clearly.
