Job summary

Acturhire is seeking an Actuarial Pricing Business Analyst for a remote role serving US markets. You will conduct independent research, analyze data, and present insights to clients and the team.

You will translate business needs into functional requirements, define KPIs, and develop Power BI and Tableau dashboards. You’ll bridge clients and BI developers, ensuring accurate, timely actuarial solutions in a fast-paced, hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in economics, mathematics, or actuarial sciences.
• IAI or IFOA with at least 6 CT exams; SP 7,8 is a plus.
• 7+ years in General Insurance/P&C pricing and reserving for US markets.
• Strong SQL, Excel, and data visualization skills for BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent data analysis and present findings.
• Collaborate with team and clients on US general insurance actuarial projects.
• Translate client needs into functional requirements and user stories.
• Define metrics, KPIs, and data views for Power BI/Tableau.
• Bridge between client stakeholders and BI developers with clear specs.
• Understand problem statements and deliver actuarial solutions.
• Support learning and development in a hybrid onshore/offshore setup.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and ensure data privacy compliance.
