Job summary

CLARA Analytics is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join the Analytics team in Product. You’ll review data, validate accuracy, draft reports, and present findings to peers and clients. The role offers room to grow across responsibilities in a dynamic insurtech environment.

Expect collaboration across Product Management, Data Science, and Data Engineering to deploy analytics methods and visualizations while delivering high-quality client reporting and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of actuarial/P&C experience or related analytics in insurance.
• Strong understanding of P&C metrics and trends.
• Proficient SQL with ability to clean and analyze complex data.
• Experience with BI tools and data visualization best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Master CLARA’s data ecosystem and troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Analyze vast data sources to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Build standardized customer reporting to enable product adoption.
• Design dashboards and visualizations for ad hoc or recurring needs.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering on analytics methods.
